Application of cored wire
The cored wire is a kind of various additives (deoxidizer, desulfurizer, modifier, alloy, etc.) to be added into the molten steel ormolten iron to be crushed into a certain particle size, and then included inthe cold rolled low carbon steel strip as a Composite material of any length.
The alloy cored wire adopts the feeding method, and the feedingspeed can be determined according to the diameter of alloy cored wire and themelting point of the wire material, and the alloy cored wire is verticallyinserted into the iron or steel liquid at a desired depth for dissolving andphysicochemical reaction, avoiding the reaction of adding elements with air andslag, improving the yield of elements, and improving the alloy composition, improving the quality of cast iron and cast steel. It has a significant effecton reducing the cost and improving the economic benefits of foundry andsteelmaking.
Features and advantages of cored wire
Improve alloy yield, reduce smeltingcosts, and shorten smelting time
Improve the quality of molten steeland the casting state
The core wire is divided into twotypes: internal unreeling type and external unreeling type. The mechanicalequipment required for feeding the wire is simple and reliable. In particular, the internal unreeling type cored wire is more suitable for use in narrowplaces.
